Patron Technology Releases Third Edition of Wired for Culture

    February 19, 2007

New York, NY – Patron Technology announced today the release of the third edition of Wired for Culture: How E-mail is Revolutionizing Arts Marketing, which includes all-new data from a survey of 80,000 arts patrons conducted by Patron Technology earlier this month. This is the fifth consecutive year that Patron Technology has conducted this research.

Wired for Culture, Third Edition includes professional analysis of this survey data, with reporting on how arts patrons use e-mail, what they consider valuable in e-mail newsletters from arts organizations, and all sorts of information about their online behavior.

Readers will learn why e-mail marketing provides a spectacular return-on-investment; what arts patrons do while they are online and how to market to them most effectively; and why e-mail captures their attention more than other marketing methods.

Readers will also understand how to get started the right way, based on case studies from the New York Philharmonic, The Drawing Center, and The Chicago Association of the Performing Arts. Also included is a section of nine “Essential Tips for Great E-mail Marketing."

The book retails for $14.99 and is ideal for not-for-profit and arts administrators, marketing directors, and small business owners.
