National Seminar Tour Set to Educate Arts Managers about Web Marketing
Half-day seminars to be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Dallas, Tulsa, and San Francisco

New York, NY -- Patron Technology today announced that its president, Eugene Carr, will embark on a national spring seminar tour of “Smart Web-Based Marketing for the Arts.” The seminars, to take place March 6-23, 2005 in Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Dallas, Tulsa, and San Francisco, will introduce arts professionals to best practices and methods for the implementation of online marketing strategies.
Patron Technology has partnered with a local arts service organization in each of the eight cities. The list of co-sponsoring organizations includes Broward Cultural Division, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Metro Atlanta Arts & Culture Coalition, Atlanta, GA; Cambridge Arts Council and the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston, Boston, MA; Fine Arts Fund, Cincinnati, OH; City of Las Vegas Cultural Affairs Division, Las Vegas, NV; City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs, Dallas, TX; Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa, Tulsa, OK; and Theatre Bay Area, San Francisco, CA.
The schedule for the tour is:
Ft. Lauderdale -- Tuesday, March 6
Atlanta -- Wednesday, March 7
Boston -- Thursday, March 8
Cincinnati -- Friday, March 9
Las Vegas –- Monday, March 19
Dallas -- Tuesday, March 20
Tulsa -- Wednesday, March 21
San Francisco -- Friday, March 23
Says Carr, “These seminars will help arts managers make the best use of e-marketing for their coming seasons. The sessions will cover the most important tips for getting an e-mail program started and how to avoid common mistakes.”
The seminars will be broken into two sessions titled, Arts E-mail Marketing: The Essentials, and E-marketing: Proven Techniques, Top Tips, and Latest Trends.
The seminars will begin at 9:15am and end at 12:15pm.
