Carr to Chair a Session about E-mail Marketing Campaigns for Museums at National Museum Conference

New York, NY -- Patron Technology today announced that its President, Eugene Carr, will speak at the upcoming American Association of Museums Annual Meeting and MuseumExpo. This is the first time that Mr. Carr has been invited to assemble and chair a panel discussion at this conference.

Carr is scheduled to chair a session about E-mail Marketing Campaigns for Museums, along with Mary Beth Armbruster, Director of Membership, Aquarium of the Pacific; and Will Cary, Associate Membership Officer for Marketing, The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The presentation will cover the most essential information about e-mail, based on the results of a recent survey of 100,000 online arts patrons, as well as case studies. The event takes place on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 2:00pm.

The American Association of Museums Annual Meeting and MuseumExpo are held each spring in North America and are attended by up to 32,000 people. American Association of Museums is the only organization representing the entire scope of museums and professionals and non-paid staff who work for and with museums, and currently represents more than 15,000 individual museum professionals and volunteers, 3,000 institutions, and 300 corporate members.
