Patron Technology Releases Second Edition of Sign-Up For Culture
August 9, 2007
New York, NY – Patron Technology announced today the publication of the second edition of Sign-Up for Culture: The Arts Marketer's Guide to Building an Effective E-mail List, which includes all-new data from a survey of 80,000 arts patrons conducted by Patron Technology earlier in 2007. This is the fifth consecutive year that Patron Technology has conducted this research.
Sign-Up for Culture (Second Edition) focuses on helping readers understand what goes into building an effective e-mail mailing list. The book begins with a professional analysis of the survey data, reporting on how arts patrons use e-mail and what they consider valuable in e-mail newsletters from arts organizations, as well as offering a wealth of information about their online behavior.
Readers will then learn what goes into an e-mail acquisition plan and how to create one; the basics of the CAN-SPAM law and how to build an e-mail list legally; and predictions for the future of online arts marketing.
Readers will also learn the 21 top tips on how to build an e-mail list quickly, including case studies from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Roundabout Theatre Company, the New York City Opera, and others.
The book retails for $19.99 and is ideal for not-for-profit and arts administrators, marketing directors, and small business owners.
