August 20, 2007
New York, NY – Patron Technology announced today that its President, Eugene Carr, has been featured in an interview in a new arts industry podcast titled In The Box (www.InTheBoxPodcast.com).
In this interview, Carr provides listeners with insight into how arts patrons respond to e-mail marketing and how arts organizations can get the most out of their e-mail marketing efforts.
"In The Box - The Business of Live Entertainment" is hosted by Keith Monaghan, a self-proclaimed arts geek, business junkie, and technology enthusiast. Says Monaghan, "The name [In The Box] refers to being on the other side of the ticket booth window, or 'in the box', as they say." With a growing subscriber list, In The Box will release a new episode every other week beginning fall 2007.
In The Box features interviews, tips, and wisdom from industry insiders to help arts professionals with the business of live entertainment. In the Box strives to provide the best business information to help arts executives run their live arts venues regardless of size. According to host Keith Monaghan, "In The Box fills a need in the live arts community: providing the best information on how to run a live performance venue in a professional, easy-to-listen-to format. Best of all, it's free."
