Arts & Non-Profit E-mail Marketing: The Essentials - 10:00-11:15am
E-mail marketing has rapidly become one of the most important elements in arts and non-profit organizations' marketing programs. This session will arm you with all the essential techniques and data that you'll need to do it right. Learn e-mail marketing from the inside out: create a subject line that works; design an attractive and effective e-mail newsletter; build your list through viral and direct marketing; segment your message and increase ticket sales and/or donations. You’ll learn the latest trends about how patrons are using the internet and how it effects their purchase decisions.
This session is designed for those with some or limited experience in e-marketing. You’ll leave feeling jazzed up with some great ideas, and you’ll be able to implement those ideas immediately.
E-mail Power Techniques and Next-Generation Web Marketing - 11:30am-1:00pm
Are you an e-blaster or an e-mail marketer? During this session, you'll learn techniques that the most successful arts marketers are using to make sure their e-mail campaigns get the best results. You'll come away with actionable ideas to implement in your own organization. We'll go through all the steps of creating an e-mail marketing strategy, from a detailed review of design techniques to reports on day-of-week targeting.
Then we'll examine some of the fastest growing trends in online marketing: blogs and streaming video. You'll understand how the technology works, and we'll discuss content ideas and take a look at what other organizations are doing.
About Your Presenter
Patron Technology’s Greg O’Neill has been working in the arts and marketing field for more than for 15 years, and he regularly lectures around the country on the benefits of e-marketing. Greg is an Account Executive with Patron Technology. He holds an MA in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University and has been involved in theatre since childhood, as an actor, a writer and a producer. He couples his artistic endeavors with his extensive media marketing expertise, and this combination of artistic and business achievements give Greg a unique perspective on arts and non-profit marketing.
