The growing popularity of social networking and social media is inescapable, and more and more of your patrons are joining in. These communication channels can be a fantastic new way for arts organizations to connect with audiences, but just like any other marketing technique, there's a right way and a wrong way to go about it.

With all the generalized information and advice out there, it can be hard to find tips that are relevant to the arts, and that's what this session will provide. We'll focus particularly on Facebook and Twitter, providing essential tips about what you should be doing — and what common mistakes you need to watch out for.

and we'll skip right ahead to specific tactci and techniques for building your Facebook page, and using Twitter most effectively. We'll look at case studies from arts organizations that are creative and doable on a tight budget. We'll also dig into the complexity around Faceook pages vs. groups and how to develop an ongoing daily program that builds your social media momentum. Finally we'll look at how you can use Twitter to provide a new level of customer service.

CRM and Cloud Computing: FiveEssential
Game Changers

If you're familiar with cloud computing and CRM, this session answers the question "so what?" We'll review five essential business strategies that CRM can enable your organization to achieve quickly and easily.
